Achilles Tendon Tears Plaguing NFL Teams After Week 1

Over the course of less than 24 hours, the NFL saw three of its players go down with Achilles tendon tears, the third such injury belonging to Indianapolis Colts linebacker Robert Mathis. Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported the tear Monday afternoon.
